THE HISTORY OF ALPHA STRUCTURAL, INC.
Having built many hillside custom homes in the 1980's, David Tourjé, the owner and President of the company, decided to specialize in foundation and hillside repairs due to the increasing demands for this type of work.
David Tourjé began in the construction trade in 1978. His focus was, from the beginning, on hillside construction and structural repair - becoming a journeyman carpenter and form setter. Tourjé constructed many high difficulty hillside homes during the 1980's and has underpinned or repaired over 1,500 damaged structures and slopes, inspecting and evaluating over 5,000 properties.
David Tourjé is licensed as a Foundation Contractor C-8, General Contractor (B-1), General Engineering Contractor (A) and Home Improvement Contractor (HIC).
Steve Richeson is Vice President of Engineering and began in the construction trades in 1989. As a general contractor; Steve has experience with custom homes, high end restaurants and commercial buildings.
Dave Schlaich, Project Manager, schedules all our projects directly with our crews, which ensures a quality job with minimal delays. All of his foremen and carpenters have been personally trained by Dave and Mark and are specialists in this difficult trade.
