Alpha Structural provided temporary panel bracing support for a commercial property in Norwalk, California. The project involved 21 Superior 14-23 and 8-14 braces positioned along the southerly and westerly perimeter concrete panels to provide temporary structural support during the repair process.
The bracing system was maintained on site while the contractor of record completed the realignment and securing of the out-of-plane concrete panels. This temporary support allowed the affected perimeter panels to remain braced throughout the duration of the structural work.
Once the contractor of record confirmed that the concrete panels were secure and the associated work was complete, Alpha Structural's scope included disassembling the temporary bracing system. All 21 braces that had been bolted to the concrete panels were then removed and hauled away from the property.
Together, the temporary panel bracing, continued structural support, and final disassembly provided a controlled support system for the out-of-plane concrete panels while permanent realignment and securing work was performed.
